Insurance Solicitor - Financial Institutes / Directors & Officers

Due to the expansion of the Insurance Litigation team, this Tier 1 Ranked Legal 500 Law Firm is looking to hire a talented lawyer to join them within the FIDO Team.

You will be working on insurance and reinsurance disputes on concerning complex investments, £Multi-Million claims, regulatory investigations and class actions. You will be involved in coverage issues, representing pension funds / investment funds / retail banks / Director / Company / Officers / IFAs etc.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor with c.2 years PQE+ with experience of working on insurance work.

As part of the role you will also be conducting files through alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediations.

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with 2 years experience in insurance work
• Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
