Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Resource Planning and Allocation Manager to oversee the creation and management of timetables for our affiliated partner universities. role involves strategic planning, coordination, and collaboration with academic staff and administrative teams to ensure that all scheduling needs are met efficiently. The Manager will also lead the Resource Planning and Allocation team, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Timetable Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive timetables for partner universities, ensuring alignment with academic calendars and course requirements.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with faculty, administration, and partner institutions to gather information necessary for effective timetable planning.
  • Class Allocation: Coordinate and allocate classes to lecturers, ensuring appropriate staffing based on expertise and availability.
  • Lecturer Support: Provide ongoing support to lecturers regarding timetable changes, room assignments, and scheduling needs, ensuring they have the necessary resources to deliver their courses effectively.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the Resource Planning and Allocation team, ensuring the optimal allocation of classrooms, equipment, and staff across all campuses.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data related to course enrollments, classroom usage, and faculty availability to inform timetable decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on timetable performance, resource utilization, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in timetable management and resource allocation, fostering a culture of efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Support and Training: Provide guidance and training to staff involved in timetable management processes.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Education Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in timetable management or academic administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
