CCTV Project Engineer

We are working with a leading design and manufacturing company providing specialized telecoms and security products to the Oil & Gas and Defence sectors. Their core offerings include wired Public Address and CCTV systems. To support their growth, they are seeking a full-time CCTV Project Engineer to join their team and contribute to project fulfillment.

Role Overview

The CCTV Project Engineer will be responsible for a range of engineering tasks critical to project success. Key responsibilities include:

Sales Support:

• Assisting Sales with system designs
• Technical review of system bids before client submission
• Creating technical documentation to support bids

System Design:

• Designing systems based on project requirements using standard and innovative solutions
• Producing engineering drawings and documentation for client approval

Manufacturing Support:

• Providing detailed documentation for manufacturing
• Supporting production staff during the build and test phases

System Build and Configuration Management:

• Implementing IP-based systems, including cameras, servers, storage devices, network equipment, and fiber optic units

Acceptance Testing:

• Hosting and attending Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure systems meet client specifications

Post-Delivery Support:

• Supporting clients during installation and commissioning phases
• Providing ongoing support throughout the system’s lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and possibly Visio
• Technical engineering qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant industry experience
