Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate Law - Retail

The company

S&H are exclusively partnering with a leading global retailer. The business is seeking a high quality corporate lawyer to join its in-house team in a key Senior Legal Counsel role, supporting the Group General Counsel. This is an exciting and varied position.

The role

A business facing in-house role at a top tier company, with a balance of business partnering and advising stakeholders on a variety of corporate and strategic matters. The role can be broken down as follows:

• Supporting the CEO and Group GC on a variety of Corporate and M&A matters:
• Advising on share and asset acquisitions, JVs, corporate restructurings.
• True business partnering with a variety of business units.
• Support the business in capital structure and corporate financing.
• Supporting in corporate governance, compliance and company secretarial matters.

About you

• Significant corporate M&A legal experience with secondment/in-house experience essential.
• Strong academics
• Law firm trained
• Strong interpersonal skills
