JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are looking for an experienced, analytical, and strategically minded sales professional to take on the role of Account Manager. The successful candidate will possess exceptional sales and customer service skills and will have the commercial acumen to drive significant growth across the assigned portfolio of clients (UK and Ireland). Working alongside Strategic Account Managers and other internal stakeholders, he/she will work to provide an exceptional service to our clients and deliver results.


Purpose of Role:

  • Drive growth and profitability through proactive management of the assigned portfolio of clients.
  • Conduct and implement in-depth analysis of clients’ needs to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams through strong collaboration, communication and problem solving.
  • Proactively identify and launch new business opportunities in all areas of the HBX Group ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and develop the assigned portfolio (existing and new clients) by building long term and mutually beneficial working relationships, while achieving targets.
  • Conduct regular analysis of client trends and market dynamics to develop effective sales strategies and increase customer value.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to identify needs and build strong relationships.
  • Continuous analysis of the performance and evolution of the assigned clients to increase sales and prevent any churn.
  • Utilise existing tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM and Tableau) to track sales activities, update client information, analyse performance and unlock opportunities.
  • Generate new business opportunities via connecting new products or destinations, opening new markets, finding business gaps, promoting HBX’s key business lines, etc.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows and other industry-related events.
  • Provide operational support and address client’s needs relating to product, tech, payment, training, etc.
  • Work closely with other departments (tech, legal, sourcing, customer service, finance) to address client concerns, issues, and requests.
  • Work with the wider sales and other internal teams to align strategy and processes.
  • Participate in all strategy, reporting and customer relationship planning necessary.


Required skills:

  • Previous travel industry experience (min 3-5 years)
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Confidence in creating and executing strategic account plans
  • Exceptional analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Exceed in data analysis (knowledge of Tableau is a plus)
  • Strong planning and stakeholder management skill
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with impact at all levels
  • A self-starter, with a can-do approach
  • Fluent in English (essential)
  • Excellent computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Understanding of travel technology is a plus
