Job Description

Scope:

As a Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our digital and data initiatives, with a focus on building and developing technical teams that deliver exceptional customer service. Your expertise will drive the creation of new digital products, utilising your deep knowledge and insights in data and technology. You will also be responsible for the operational management of technical services, ensuring efficient delivery and ongoing innovation across our digital and data offerings.


In this role, you will work collaboratively with the sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service and develop innovative solutions. Your ability to build and lead a high-performing technical team will be crucial as you shape the strategic direction of our services. This role is ideal for a leader with strong digital and data expertise, a passion for innovation, and the ability to translate technical knowledge into impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities:


Practice Management:

  • Define the department's strategy, set objectives, and support business growth.
  • Determine and deploy nearshore/offshore activities as needed.
  • Propose and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Identify, select, and develop middle management teams, including Team Managers and Team Leads.
  • Oversee technical scoping and manage scope changes.
  • Ensure the highest quality of delivery across projects.

Communication & Governance:

  • Maintain internal and external governance, liaising with stakeholders.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and satisfaction at the senior management level.
  • Regularly report progress to the Operations Director and Technical Director.

People Management:

  • Lead hiring and recruiting efforts for tech experts.
  • Manage Service Delivery Managers and Technical Team Leads.
  • Oversee resource management and bench utilization.
  • Develop the careers and skills of your team members.

Expertise & Capabilities Management:

  • Monitor team skills and provide necessary training.
  • Develop clear career and training paths for team members.

Presales & Offers:

  • Create innovative products and solutions.
  • Support technical bid qualifications and participate in GO/NOGO decisions.
  • Craft technical offers, including workload, cost, skills, and risk estimates.
  • Identify and coordinate with technical experts for offer creation.

Present technical offers to customers, highlighting winning criteria and differentiators.

Required Skills:


To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and project management experience. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:


  • Technical Background:
  • Extensive experience in IT and/or Digital fields, with a strong foundation as a technical leader or a former hands-on developer, analyst, or technician.
  • Proficiency in applicative software, SAP, enterprise solutions, data analytics, digital technology, and AI.
