Responsible for:
Delivery and maintenance of insights, regular reporting and internal/external dashboards
Core responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in the technical development and delivery of New West End Company’s (NWEC) insight service (guided by Director of Insights & Strategy).
- Deliver NWEC’s performance measurement toolkit and associated regular reporting.
- Assist with NWEC’s data management practices.
Key Tasks:
- Maintain datasets related to internal business reporting.
- Support all NWEC activities related to external reporting.
- Deliver weekly/monthly analytical (footfall) reports to NWEC’s members.
- Deliver regular analytical reports within the scope of NWEC’s Service Level Agreements and corporate partnerships.
- Provide analytical support for reports and presentations for NWEC’s members and commercial partners where relevant and agreed with the line manager.
- Deliver analytical reports for public sector stakeholders where relevant and agreed with the line manager.
- Work in conjunction with external data analysts who support work within the Insight & Innovation function.
- Ensure that NWEC team members and leadership team is well- supported with data and insights to further internal reporting, advocacy, place management and consumer marketing objectives.
- Support NWEC colleagues with any other bespoke insights and research requirements following prior approval from line manager
- Support the CEO, the COO, NWEC Directors, the Chairman and NWEC’s Board of Directors with any other relevant data queries.
- Maintain and update reporting tools (dashboards, report & presentation templates) to measure progress of programmes against set KPIs.
- Support other team members with their performance reporting and maintain KPI scorecards for CEO/COO reports to the NWEC’s Board.
- Maintain analytical and reporting tools within CRM systems to measure and support member/stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain, monitor and update data protection measures regularly in line with the change in laws and regulations.
- Day to day maintenance of NWEC’s internal knowledge resources (factbooks, data dashboards) to support teams across the organisation.
Key Objectives / Outcomes:
- Ensure that NWEC is a timely and reliable source of insights into the West End business environment.
- Ensure that NWEC team members and leadership team is well- supported with data and insights to further internal reporting, advocacy, place management and consumer marketing objectives.
Essential Skills:
- Proven track record of delivering insights across all levels
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Efficient multi-tasker working to deadlines with an ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- High attention to detail; visual, written, organisational & data.
- Intermediate-to-advanced level of IT skills ( data processing, data visualisation, advanced analytics...Alteryx, Power BI essential).
- Understanding of business intelligence tools and how to use data to deliver usable commercial insights.
- Experience in using CRM systems and digital marketing automation systems.
- Knowledge of the retail and high street business environments, both from B2B and from B2C perspectives.
