Job Description
My client a well known manufacturing and distribution company based in Colne are currently seeking a reliable and experienced VNA Driver (Man Up) to join their team. As a VNA Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using the VNA FLT.
Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate VNA Fork Lift Trucks
– Load and unload items from the vehicle in a timely manner
– Ensure that all items are properly palletized
– Perform routine checks on the FLT to ensure it is in good working condition
– Pick goods using pick sheets to prepare goods for dispatch
– Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including materials handling and inventory management
– Utilize a warehouse management system to track and organize shipments
Requirements:
– Valid VNA (Man Up) license – must have been refreshed within the last 3-5 years
– Proven experience as MHE Driver – experience is essential
– Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
– Picking and reading skills
– Proficient in using warehouse management systems for shipping and receiving tasks
– Basic math skills for inventory management purposes
