The role:

Reporting to the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager this role is responsible for the maintenance of all production and facility equipment to high quality standard, ensuring production runs as normal.

What will you be responsible for?

  • To ensure the regular (Daily, Monthly, Yearly) maintenance of company production equipment/facility, taking care of failures, deviations and repairs.
  • Maintenance in accordance with the relevant requirements of certificates (special operation: electrician, working at heights, pressure vessel etc.
  • Equipment safety device and fire extinguishing prevention patrol monthly.
  • Inspecting machinery, equipment, buildings, and systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and factory systems to identify any issues.
  • Completing repairs such as fixing locks, leaky taps, changing lights and broken windows
  • Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, Sprinklers
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported
  • Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed (Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures)
  • Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • Planning and scheduling repairs.
  • Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, and carpentry etc.
  • Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
  • Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
  • Continue improvements, save repairing cost.
  • Strictly fulfill job related requirements of ISO9000/14001/45001 system.

So, who are you?

We employ people from all walks of life and with a wide range of work experiences. To succeed in this role we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • General knowledge of Building Fabric Maintenance and repairs - guttering, doors, windows, locks, flooring, tiles, signage, plumbing repairs, lights etc
  • Strong ability of logic, data analysis and safety awareness;
  • Good MS Office operation skills.
  • Familiar with Air Compressor, Cooling Tower, Air Conditioner, the use of Hydraulic and Pneumatic elements, fire-control etc.
  • Experience in repairing machines including Extrusion, Injection, Chiller machine, DC/AC Motor and Invert.
  • Due to the production command, can work by turn.
  • Good working attitude with team spirit and customer focus.
