Senior UX Researcher - Financial Services

We are hiring a Senior UX Researcher to join a leading bank in Dubai. This bank are currently 12 months into a huge digital transformation, currently in the "beautifully messy" stages of transformation, where they work they are doing is being implemented.

This transformation is a redefinition, re-design and re-purpose of their entire product and service offering in consumer, retail, corporate, business and wholesale banking.

They have hired a team of exceptional digital and tech leaders, invested into a first-of-its kind Generative AI lab and hired the same design studio that re-branded Airbnb & WhatsApp.

We are now hiring a UX Researcher to join the core design team. Operating in a SAFE model the Product Design team acts as a shared resource across the bank, giving individuals working in this team a great breadth of exposure to all service lines and a unique opportunity to work with an array of teams.

We are seeking a UX Researcher with 5+ years experience, across tactical and theoretical, qualitative & quantitative research.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for applicants to apply with:

• Advanced degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience working closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
• Expertise in using UX research to inform product strategy and design decisions.
• Experience with quantitative research methods and statistical analysis.
• Experience with qualitative research methods.
• Proficient in utilizing advanced research tools such as biometric measurement devices, eye-tracking equipment, etc.
• Knowledge of current trends in UX research and user-centered design.
• Published work or speaking engagements in the field of UX research would be an added advantage
• Arabic language skills would be an added advantage
