Job Description
Cure Talent is thrilled to be working with a family-run company that designs and builds products dedicated to supporting the needs of children with a wide range of disabilities.
If you are currently working within a manufacturing environment in either a procurement or purchasing role then perhaps you would like to join this company as a Procurement Specialist and join them in pioneering developmental postural equipment that supports children as they grow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Place purchase orders and manage vendor performance, ensuring pricing accuracy and OTIF targets.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve performance and support strategic goals.
* Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and R&D teams to provide supply-side inputs, manage inventory, and support NPI processes.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reduce purchasing costs, and eliminate waste from the procurement process.
* Manage supplier rejections with the Quality team and support sales functions with tender development
The successful candidate will have several years’ procurement or purchasing experience gained within a manufacturing environment and ideally have a good understanding of engineering concepts.
