If this sounds exciting to you, come join us As a Backend QA, you will : - Perform defect tracking and reporting. - Functionally test api against functional use cases and boundary cases. - Evaluate api's from a security perspective. - Load test api's so that they survive the test of time. - Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse impact of changes, come up with test cases proactively. - Document, Plan & execute extensive testing for api's - Automate test cases for periodic regression. - Understand & analyse existing systems to identify improvements & performance / maintenance issues and highlight them. We are looking for someone with : - 1-6 years of hands-on experience in Backend api manual/automation testing - Experience in selenium and related tools. - Experience with debugging & solving issues in a cloud environment - Experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL or similar database - Exposure towards NoSQL databases - Deep understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available environment - Exposure towards open-source technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka etc and their adoption into products - Willingness to work in a startup like environment - B.E / B.Tech / MCA Following aspects would be a plus : - Prior experience in FinTech. - Experience in automation testing (ref:hirist.tech)
