Senior Data Engineer - SSIS/SSRS

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and reporting solutions. You will utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and advanced SQL to transform raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities : - Data Integration : Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses. - Data Reporting : Develop, maintain, and optimize reports using SSRS to meet business needs and support decision-making processes. - Database Management : Design and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and security. - Collaboration : Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. - Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring optimal performance of ETL processes and reports. - Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, reporting solutions, and database structures. - Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and analysts. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience : 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on SSIS, SSRS, and SQL. Technical Skills : - Proficient in SSIS for ETL processes. - Extensive experience with SSRS for report development. - Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Knowledge of other data processing tools and technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power BI) is a plus. - Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex data challenges. - Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
