Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Assist in overseeing all lodge operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and safari activities. Guest Relations: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing inquiries, managing feedback, and resolving issues promptly. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to uphold high standards of service and hospitality. Financial Oversight: Assist in managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-control measures. Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance lodge standards, ensuring adherence to service excellence and company policies. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve lodge operations and guest satisfaction. Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks, including reporting, scheduling, and inventory management. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in senior management roles within luxury hospitality or game lodge environments. Experience working as a couple is a plus. Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple departments and deliver high-quality guest service. Education: Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, tourism, or related fields are preferred. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to varied roles and responsibilities as required. Willingness to work in a remote and unique environment. Personal Attributes: Passion for hospitality and conservation, with a professional and approachable demeanor. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
