Job Description
Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced KS3 Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted "good" rated school to support students across years 7, 8 and 9 in their learning.
The school is a medium size mainstream Secondary School with a supportive teaching team.
The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT DETAILS
Location - Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Position - KS3 Teaching Assistant
Type of work - KS3 Teaching Assistant (years 7,8 & 9)
Contract type - Day to day supply/ short-term contract
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £85 per day
Hours - 8:00AM - 4PM, plus parents eveningsEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Classroom support experience in the UK
Full clean driver's licence
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 yearsOTHER
