Our client is seeking a dedicated Site Foreman/Ganger to join their busy team based near Downham Market PE38

We are looking for a candidate who is already expereinced with CSCS and SSSTS / SMSTS

Role Information;

• Overseeing health & safety arrangements
• Supervising a team of roundworkers
• Experienced in Civils and preferably energy background
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• CPCS or NPORS machine tickets preferred but not essential

Job Title: Ganger/Working Foreman

Job Type: Temporary (ongoing)

Location: Downham Market

Salary: £22.00 - £23.50 CIS

Working Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a dedicated Site Foreman/Ganger to join their busy civils team based near Downham Market PE38.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects in Downham market.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing appropriate measures, and promoting a safety-first culture on the site.
• Conducting regular site inspections, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
• Managing site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily reports.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the site team, including supervisors, tradespeople, and laborers, to maintain high-quality standards and achieve project objectives.
• Supervising a team of groundworkers.

Desirable Experience

• Proven experience
• A valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification is essential.
• CPCS machine operator card is essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
