Part Time Bookkeeper/Accountant

Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a well established small business within the property industry in their search for a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join them on a part time basis based in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.

Working as part of a small team, but taking sole responsibility for all finance activities with the support of an external accountant. Your typical duties include:

Bookkeeping to trial balance
Posting payments
Raising bank payments
Client account reconciliation
Business bank account reconciliation
Balance sheet reconciliation
Petty cash and expenses
VAT Returns
Applications are invited from individuals with the following skills and experience:

Ideally formally qualified or working towards qualification such as AAT or ACCA
Experienced in working in small business in a standalone role
IT Literate - experience with Xero would be advantageous
Team player with a flexible attitude
Able to work with minimal supervision
This is an office based role, working 22 hours per week, there is flexibility on working hours to suit individual circumstances. The occassional working from home would be possible.
