Academic Appointments understand it is not just teaching staff who help to create exceptional results. Higher Level Teaching Assistants are vital to ensuring that students achieve their full potential and become confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals.
The role will also include covering lessons and registration for absent colleagues at allotted times and delivering interventions such as numeracy and literacy interventions to students in small groups and on a one to one basis.
We are seeking Higher Level Teaching staff to work in a IR setting within a Primary School in Sheffield:
* Monday to Friday hours
* School holidays
* Weekly pay
* Day to day and temporary roles
Requirements
* Previous experience working with Children in a Primary School
* HLTA / Level 3 TA
* Experience of supporting children with Autism, SEMH and challenging behaviour
* Enhanced DBS certificate (we can help with this of not) This must be checked for Children and Adult Workforce.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Pro active and can work in a fast-paced environment
* 2 x references (including your last employer)
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
