Job Title: Assistant Geospatial Surveyor

Location: Leeds, UK


Our client, a leading consultancy in the built environment sector, helping clients transform the quality and sustainability of their properties, is seeking a motivated and determined Assistant Geospatial Surveyor to join their multi-disciplinary office in Leeds. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals either starting their career or looking to advance to the next level. You’ll gain invaluable experience working on prestigious projects across the residential, industrial, and commercial sectors, including high-profile contracts exceeding £30 million. You’ll also have opportunities to work with a diverse range of clients, from retail giants and local authorities to schools, developers, and overseas projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surveyors with data capture using advanced robotic total station and GNSS technology.
  • Support in delivering 2D/3D topographical surveys using N4cE software.
  • Operate and assist with specialist laser scanning equipment, including Leica P40, RTC360, NavVis VLX, and BLK2GO.
  • Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
  • Prepare 2D/3D survey drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare and write reports, ensuring data quality meets client expectations.


Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Experience using survey equipment (e.g., total stations, laser scanners) is essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Knowledge of Cyclone software is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full clean driving license required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
