Hawkwood is partnering with a high-growth, sports and data technology scale-up that has doubled its headcount since early last year. To support their ongoing expansion, they are looking to build out their Talent team.


Our client is a market leader with offices in London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, and Bern . They work with some of the biggest names and organisations in the sports industry .


We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hiring across their technical functions and manage a small team. Reporting to the Talent Director, this role will focus on supporting and growing teams of Data, Software, BI Engineers, Product Managers, Delivery Managers, QA specialists, and MarTech experts.


Our client believes this role is perfect for an agency recruiter looking to transition in-house. This opportunity offers the chance to directly influence hiring while maintaining high-performance standards and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.


What are some of the things you can expect to be doing?


  • Using creative sourcing methods to identify, engage and acquire world-class technical talent (Engineering, Data, Product) through multiple search platforms with a meaningful emphasis on diversity.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers to influence talent acquisition decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and teams to develop, implement, and manage short-and long-term recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively identify and assess talent using a variety of sourcing methodologies including but not limited to LinkedIn, networking and research.
  • Develop social media opportunities to increase employer brand awareness and ensure vacancies reach a wide candidate pool, developing a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Prepare offers, create strategic closing plans, negotiate compensation packages, and ultimately sign engineering candidates.


You will be a good fit if you have:


  • 4 to 6 years of agency recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to proactively engage passive candidates and manage them through the interview process.
  • Proven biller in the technology sector.
  • Skilled with multiple recruitment techniques and modern tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High levels of influence & persuasion.
  • Ability to work at pace whilst not compromising quality.
  • Team player, works collaboratively .
