Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FM Company - Shift- Commercial Office - Bank - £48,000
Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Company in Bank, London . My client is looking for a Building Services Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Bank, London. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical site (i.e. Bank, Data centre, Blue chip office etc). Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will have experience carrying out electrical, mechanical & fabric duties. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of £48,000, further training and career progression.
Respond to Service Desk reactive tasks as directed in accordance with SLAs
Assist in ensuring plant rooms are tidy and presentable, reporting any issues for rectification.
Undertake reactive maintenance, minor works and public health maintenance including blocked toilets.
Undertake minor fabric maintenance works covering areas such as painting, furniture moving, etc and ensuring that any materials required to complete tasks are ordered in a timely and appropriate manner.
Carry out minor Electrical installations, as and when requested and supervised.
Identify, manage and report any risks, accidents or near misses in a timely manner.
Work with and escort contractors during maintenance visits, ensuring that working guidelines are always followed and assisting with the quarterly inspection undertaken by the water treatment consultant.
To respond quickly and effectively to any building alarms received from the helpdesk or BMS, and to escalate alarms where necessary, recording all reactive tasks in the shift log.
Uphold the integrity of the company always and ensure provision of high levels of customer service are provided.

Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
Emergency lighting
Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)

Requirements
Electrically qualified Level 3 / HNC / HND
18th Edition if electrically qualified
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Excellent customer skills
Highly desirable (Not essential)
Any further qualifications (i.e. Mechanical or Air Conditioning etc)
Experience working in a bank / data centre / commercial Office
Previous experience a day and night shift pattern
