Job Description
This is a newly created role within the Functional Skills Tutor Team of a Training Provider with an amazing reputation both in the marketplace, and as an Employer.

This role, whilst delivering Functional Skills to L2, is aimed at helping and coaching SENDco students, so we are ideally looking to speak to someone with previous experience delivering to similar groups, or ideally a recognised SENDCo qualification.
You’ll be managing a cohort of learners alongside an eLearning portfolio, through to completion, liaising with other tutors and the administration team. You will deliver deliver remote learning using a variety of resources to support learners needs – there may be occasions where you will be required to travel on-site to support learners in need or who you feel may benefits from a 1-1.
You’ll be assessing the specific educational needs of learners with learning disabilities and providing recommendations for their support to other professionals involved in the learner journey – it’s expected you’ll have previous experience of identifying and dealing with these needs.
We’d love to hear from you if you are an experienced Functional Skills, who now wants to move to a company where work / life balance is at the centre of what they do – location isn’t important as you’ll be WFH mostly, although you will be required to travel to H/O (near Wakefield) and occasional site visits.
Salary is between £25k - £28k depending on your experience, skills, and qualifications, what’s most important though is the “can-do” attitude you are able to bring.
