Responsibilities:

• Provide strong initial and final management oversight of Early Help referrals received through the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and Team Around the Setting (TAS).
• Supervise and guide a team of Early Help Advisers, ensuring efficient case allocation and robust decision-making for the best outcomes for children, young people, and families.
• Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring adherence to performance indicators and deadlines.
• Conduct audits, identify service trends, and collect data to enhance service development.
• Play a key role in identifying training needs for the team and other professionals.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:

• BSc in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
• Social Work England Registration.
• Proven experience in a similar role within Children's Services, particularly within Early Help.
• Experience supervising both qualified and unqualified staff, with the ability to lead in the absence of a team manager.
• A Driving Licence is preferable but not essential
