Site Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor

Carrowhugh recruitment is currently recruiting for a site engineer to work on a houseing project in Ramsey, Cmbridgeshire. This project is due to run until December 2025. The Sub-Structure specialist company have been established over 40 Years and take onProject's ranging in value from £250,000 to £25 million.

The successfulcandidate will have 3+ years of dealing with similar Groundwork & RC Frame contractor type works and be extremely confident in their ability to set out.

There is also a promise of more work for the right candidates as the company have a lot more up and coming projects.

TheSite Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractorwill also assist with the management of :

-Request for Information(RFI)

- Supply of Information

- Rebar + Precast

Other Key responsibilities of theSite Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor:

• Setting Out groundworks & structural Use of GPS, total station & automatic levels
• Coordinating site drawings
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolves technical issues
• Record keeping and reporting
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.

Specific Requirements of theSite Engineer - Groundworks + Substructure Contractor

• Relevant Third level Degree
• 3+ experience in a similar role
• Previous Sub-Contractor experience
• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech)
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential
• Excellent IT skills knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
