Job Description
Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Buyer. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company's site in East Kilbride.
A critical role for the business. You will be tasked with ensuring parts and materials are sourced, ordered and delivered on time at the right cost and quantity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supplier management
- Negotiation and tenders
- Material scheduling
- Continuous improvement of ERP system
- Other duties deemed relevant to role.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within a procurement role
- SAP B1 experience would be beneficial
- A procurement qualification would be advantageous
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate
