Job Description

Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Buyer. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company's site in East Kilbride.

A critical role for the business. You will be tasked with ensuring parts and materials are sourced, ordered and delivered on time at the right cost and quantity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supplier management
  • Negotiation and tenders
  • Material scheduling
  • Continuous improvement of ERP system
  • Other duties deemed relevant to role.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a procurement role
  • SAP B1 experience would be beneficial
  • A procurement qualification would be advantageous
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate

Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
