Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Scottish Power team on a contract basis based in Glasgow City Centre.

This will be a contract role for 3 months so will be looking for someone who is available for an immediate start.

The Data & Performance Analyst to join our task force team and will work with colleagues and business stake holders to complete data validation activities across our data sets for OT assets (operational technology).

Responsibilities:
Through use of data analysis, visualizations and reporting against KPIs, we will measure the accuracy of various data sets to actively achieve single source of truth across each business area developing action plans to retrieve any missing data and improving the quality of data sets held for each of the different asset types.
You'll also be providing analytical support and developing visually appealing dashboards and bespoke reports, as well as critiquing existing reports and data sets, identifying potential improvements to comply with regulatory obligations under the NIS & CAF criteria.
Completion of master data templates to allow contractors to carry out physical site audits for data capture and validation of existing data. Assit in the corindation of the audit program alongside reviewing the data within the master template validation prior to the data being uploaded into the asset inventory system.
You will be a highly motivated, self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver against tight deadlines. You'll enjoy working with data alongside providing relevant and accurate reporting to support operational decision-making during our initial tactical stage of this programme of works.

Skill and Experience
•Excellent MS Office 365 skills, particularly excel
•Experience in BI software such as Microsoft Power BI
•Previous knowledge of hardware asset management experience would be desirable.
•Strong analytical skills
•Extensive experience in data analysis & reporting from multiple data sources and complex data sets.
•Proven track record of delivering performance improvement through data analysis
