Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Chorley
We are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH provision in Chorley. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school offers a highly personalised curriculum and focuses on ensuring the students develop independence, interpersonal/social skills and self-regulation, alongside their academic journey.
Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in challenging situations.

Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing (Temp-Perm for the right candidate)

Full time/part time - Full-time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £100 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.45pm Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER
