Exciting Opportunity for Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Beautiful Wide Bay region of Queensland!

The Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking passionate and skilled Senior Staff Specialists, Staff Specialists, or Senior Medical Officers to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.



With positions available at Bundaberg Hospital, and opportunities to serve at other facilities within the Wide Bay region, this is a chance to make a real impact in regional healthcare. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care while teaching and mentoring the next generation of health professionals.

What You’ll Do:


  • Provide first class clinical care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Mentor and teach junior doctors and medical students.
  • Participate in clinics, surgeries, and on-call rosters.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of patient care across the health service.


Essential Criteria:


  • FRANZCOG qualification or equivalent.
  • A commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for teaching and continuous professional development.
