Engineering Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a global organisation at the heart of the business on a Permanent basis.

About the Role

• Responsible for value stream (Product Line) performance – Quality, Delivery on-time etc
• Owner of the Assembly value stream (Scheduling and Operations) and key stakeholder in the demand scheduling for the primary functions (internal manufacture and purchasing
• Focal point for Ops and Supply Chains reporting structures
• Key contact to maintain customer relationships, both via Customer Service & Product Management Teams and directly with customers
• Observe and comply with Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business from time to time.

About You

• Previous experience in people management of either a production line or assembly.
• Experienced in working colaboration with the Supply Chain team
• TEOA / Lean implementation experience (Essential)
• Planning / Scheduling experience/exposure
• Ability to become a Product expert with training
