Quality Analyst - OMS/WMS

Key Responsibilities : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Order Management and Warehouse Management applications. - Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality. - Perform REST API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs using tools like Postman and Swagger. - Execute performance testing and load testing using tools like JMeter to assess system behavior under various conditions. - Utilize SQL to write queries to validate data/identify issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test scenarios, and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Document and track defects, work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and verify fixes. - Ensure that testing is completed within the project timelines and adheres to quality standards. - Maintain test environments and data necessary for executing test Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in QA testing with a focus on Order Management and/or Warehouse Management systems. - Proven experience with REST API testing, including the use of Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management. - Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar. - Knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation. - Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) processes and workflows. - Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: - Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. - Performance and load testing using JMeter or other performance testing tools. - Knowledge of integration testing for systems interfacing with OMS or WMS. Preferably Manhattan Active Omni OMS or WMS. - Prior Experience with Retail or e-commerce or logistics clients (ref:hirist.tech)
