Claims Handler – Personal Injury EL/PL - Greater Manchester

Paralegal / Litigation Executive/ Fe Earner . This casualty litigation team handles litigated delegated authority EL/PL work. The team acts for major insurers and attracts work across a number of sectors including retail and manufacturing as well as public sector.

• Job Title: Claims Handler/Fee Earner
• Location: Greater Manchester
• Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
• Work pattern: Hybrid
• Previous experience: Claimant or defendant EL/PL experience would be ideal

Partners looking for candidates with litigated EL/PL experience

Paralegals or Litigation Executives with litigated experience will handle litigated work including small claims and fast track as well as some multi track.

There will also be opportunities to support more experienced fee earners on other more complex cases.

As a guide, the role will involve:

• Handling litigated EL/PL cases from ‘cradle to grave’.
• Reviewing evidence and assessing initial view of the case
• Instructing Counsel
• Performing legal research as required
• Liaising with the various parties of a given case
