Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger for an immediate start in the Scunthorpe area. This is a contract role working with a reputable tunnelling subcontractor on an exciting water infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely sling and direct loads during lifting operations.
Communicate clearly with crane operators and site personnel.
Ensure that all lifting activities are performed in accordance with site safety regulations and method statements.
Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for use.
Assist the team with additional duties as required.Requirements:
Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification.
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within tunnelling or heavy civil engineering projects.
Strong understanding of site health and safety practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
