SENIOR RESEARCH DATA SCIENTIST

MANCHESTER - 3 Days per week

COMPANY:

We are working with a leading retail/Data Science company who specialise in using analytics to support their clients with projects such as loyalty, pricing and promotions.

They are looking for a Senior Research Data Scientist to join their Price & Promotions team!

ROLE:

• Work on designing and building advanced demands forecasting models
• Apply machine learning, statistical, and econometric methods to a range of other customer data science problems
• Working closely within a team to understand, troubleshoot, and maintain machine learning models
• Maintain and enhance existing ML models, ensuring all models are deployed in production are monitored.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ML/AI, and related fields to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements

REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• Experience in ML Pricing
• Relevant industry experience is a bonus
• Strong coding skills in Python, R or MATLAB
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
