Salary:£52,285 - £60,730 and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing

About the Role
SSE are looking for an experienced Automation Test Analyst to join the growing IT Test Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements analysis and validation.

- Providing test estimates.

- Defining and documenting the approach to automation testing.

- Writing, programming, and running automated tests and regression suites.-Monitoring of issues and defects.

- Tracking of progress of testing and reporting to Team Lead with regular updates.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Solid experience as an Automation Test Analyst.

- Experience in development of API and Web UI Test Automation Frameworks.

- Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps

- Experience in creating automated tests with .NET / C# (ideally .NET Core stack).

- Experience with Selenium and BDD (Specflow or Cucumber).

- Experience integrating automation frameworks in CI/CD pipeline.

- Experience with Git technologies and driving/managing code reviews.

- Knowledge of coding best practices and design patterns (e.g. POM and SOLID).

- Knowledge of both agile and waterfall testing approaches.

- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders.

- Experience in Power & Utilities industry would be an advantage.
