Job Description

Our client, a leading consultancy specialising in financial solutions, is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team.


You’ll be coming in to join a team who are striving to make a significant impact, working closely with a variety of clients across different retail, industrial and mixed used spaces.


Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role offers a unique chance to shape the financial strategies of businesses and contribute to their success.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Month-End Process Management: Oversee month-end processes for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly Finance Packs in collaboration with our outsourced partners.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct cash flow analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance reporting to provide clients with critical insights into their financial performance.
  • Budgeting and Auditing Support: Assist clients during budget preparation, year-end closing, and audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for financial process improvement, helping clients streamline operations and enhance their overall efficiency.
  • Portfolio and Capital Management: Provide expert guidance on commercial portfolio management, treasury oversight, and capital expenditure reporting, ensuring clients make informed decisions.
  • Client Training and Development: Lead internal and external training sessions, empowering teams with financial insights and best practices.


What We’re Looking For:


  • ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant: A strong foundation in accounting and financial management, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: You’ll need to be proficient in Excel for financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Working Knowledge of Xero and Power BI: Familiarity with these tools is highly desirable, as they’re commonly used across our client base.
  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: You’ll manage multiple client accounts, ensuring each receives the attention to detail and accuracy they expect.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work closely with clients, external partners, and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Proactive and Client-Focused: We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives on challenges, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about helping businesses succeed.
