Sysco Environmental is a company working in the field of industrial hygiene and health risk prevention. As a growing company we seek to acquire exceptional talent to join our Sales Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated salesperson who would like to learn more about our industry.
This position focuses on developing new client relationships by utilising our CRM database, responding to customer needs and by opening new opportunities through proactive sales skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking inbound sales calls, making outbound pro-active calls and bring their own unique sales skills and experiences into our team to help develop the vision of Sysco Environmental.
Experience and Skills for the Role:
- At least 4 years outbound Sales Experience.
- Outbound calling using data from our CRM system. (B2B only)
- Target Driven with a desire to succeed.
- Industry experience not essential as full training will be provided.
- A drive to seek new business to meet or exceed targets.
- Taking inbound sales calls
- Capability to understand and manage the sales process from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional manner
- Effective Time Management
- Ability to work independently, but also be able to leverage resources and engage with the operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service
- Excellent IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets ensuring all information is up to date and accurate on the CRM system
- Use campaign information to contact customers.
Principal Role:
The work will involve a wide range of responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities, develop, and manage a strong sales pipeline of opportunities from lead generation to close,
- Create a network of contacts to understand current and emerging market needs and trends,
- Once training is complete have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- Help to plan sales campaigns and discuss promotional strategy and activities.

The role is office based at our head office in Hoyland, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Basic starts from £28,000 (depending on experience) with OTE £35,000 Uncapped
