Job Description
In line with business objectives, my client is looking to strengthen their Sales team by hiring a new Internal Sales Executive. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to proactively build and nurture relationships with existing clients, maximizing business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account management
- Generating and calculating freight quotations and tender documents
- Drafting and sending sales correspondence
- Conducting follow-up calls
- Managing the sales process through to closure
- Ensuring quotes are completed promptly and followed up to optimize conversion
- Visiting clients when required
Experience/Skills Required:
- Sales or customer service experience
- Experience in freight forwarding or export sales (preferred, but training will be provided)
- Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tenders
- Experience negotiating with clients and suppliers
- Key account management with a track record of developing strong client relationships
- Strong administrative and numerical skills
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

- Strong sales/customer service orientation with a "can-do" attitude
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
