Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing our marketing efforts. You will stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and be a creative strategist with outstanding organizational abilities. The goal is to promote and expand Omnimed’s commercial activities to generate revenue and achieve sustainable growth.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and objectives to accelerate growth.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities, expansion, new and existing business development, market trends, and potential acquisitions.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand and meet the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being effectively addressed.
  • Client Acquisition & Management: Actively pursue new customer acquisition and manage relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Partnership Building: Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for the Managing Director.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist in setting financial targets, developing budgets, and monitoring financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct meetings with clients and key stakeholders both externally and internally via Teams or other platforms.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in sales and/or marketing, including managing relationships with key clients.
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience within the NHS or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Sage 50 is highly desirable.
  • Must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car.


Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Managing Director.
