Job Description

CT Glass Ltd is a long established and growing glass processing company supplying float glass products into the Architectural and Building Glass industry. CT Glass Ltd works closely with the customers to ensure expectations of the customer are exceeded.

A new role has been opened to accommodate the growth of CT Glass Ltd. CT’s aim is to reach a wider customer base, with a focus on building our established customer base and cementing new and successful client relationships.

If you are a driven sales manager, with a track record in growing and sustaining sales of business to business architectural or building products, we would be eager to meet and discuss the role.

Role Aims:

1. Grow customer base within target markets.

2. Identify and act upon potential and new sales opportunities.

3. Protect and maintain existing clients.

4. Promote and champion quality, safety and compliance.

5. Willing to accept new challenges and be a team player with the aim of building a career with CT Glass Ltd.

Role:

1. Use a variety of techniques, including, but not limited to networking, market research, large project and tendering monitoring, to identify potential customers and sales.

2. Approach and solidify relationship with potential customers through promoting the quality of our products and services, and upholding CT’s dedication to understanding and learning about our customers.

3. Research and provide solutions to new and established customers within our current and developing range of products. Working with and being supported by our experienced team.

4. Provide excellent customer service, directly by working for the customer, and indirectly by supporting and communicating to CT staff.

5. Ensuring communication is to a high standard, both internally and externally, through utilisation of meetings, site visits, emails, phone calls and messaging platforms (i.e. through linked in.).

6. Differentiate and communicate CT, and CT’s products from our competitors, based on our key quality and service provisions to the customer, and the downstream effect on how this will positively impact our client’s business.

7. Strive to meet key performance indicators and targets for volume, margin and profitability.

8. Report and review lost opportunities, and be active in establishing lessons learnt, to further future opportunities. Communication within CT Glass Ltd where improvement could be made to achieve sales within our target markets.

9. Learn, understand and apply the compliance requirements within the ever-changing building products, and building environments.

10. Develop a wide understanding of architectural glass and uses, to further facilitate sales.

11. Contribute and support the long-term sustainability and environmentally goals.

Capabilities:

CT Glass Ltd is looking for a motivated, dedicated and customer focused candidate, who is willing to work with CT to learn and improve both their performance, and the performance of the company.

Key requirements:

Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the architectural, building or construction products industry. Experience in glass products, partitioning, balustrading/balconies, or other related products would be ideal.

Knowledge and understanding of the construction, architectural and building industry. Including market awareness, regulations and standard requirements, importance of safety and quality, and the importance of long-standing business to business relationships.

Strong communication skills across all formats, such as email, phone, face to face. Ability to build relationships across all stakeholders and work excellently with internal staff to ensure customer expectations are met.

Deadline oriented and driven.

Ability to identify challenges and propose solutions and improvements.


Key Skills:


  • Microsoft Office
  • CRM software and quotation/ordering software experience desirable
  • Presentation and analysis skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Familiarity of technical drawings


Package


Salary dependent on experience from £37.500 per annum

Car/Car allowance

Bonus Scheme.
