Your role

The Area Manager (AM) is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall performance of Grozeo's operations within a designated area, which may include one or multiple boroughs depending on the density and size of the territory. The AM is directly in charge of Relationship Officers (ROs), Delivery Drivers, Front Office Staff, and other area-related human resources and operational resources. They play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Grozeo's services while maintaining a strong focus on growth, sales, and marketing performance.


Role and responsibilities

  • Create and carry out marketing strategies to meet sales and business goals in the assigned area.
  • Recruit relationship officers and bring them on board.
  • Provide team members with direction, support, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localised marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Set sales goals for the area and ensure that they are met through careful planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Identify potential clients, sales opportunities, and key accounts.
  • Monitor sales performance, conduct data analysis, and submit timely reports to management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Identify market expansion and growth opportunities within the assigned area.
  • Prepare and manage the area's marketing budgets.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
  • Ensure that all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies are followed.


Requirements


  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of existing e-commerce and other technology platforms is required.
  • Experience in marketing as well as the aptitude and willingness to learn innovative things.
  • Proven expertise in identifying target audiences and developing and leading creative, cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and inspire.
  • Strong leadership skills are required to effectively lead and motivate a team of Relationship Officers, as well as the ability to set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide direction to team members.
  • Proven track record in sales and meeting revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
