Internal Sales - Ventilation (The Air Shop)

The Design & Sales role is to join and assist the busy design team of a rapidly growing e-commerce brand and become a dependable member of the wider group of companies. The Air Shop, part of ther HRV Group is a young, dynamic, and rapidly expanding business, offering end users an unrivalled technical, product specification and residential ventilation design service.

The purpose of the role is to manage enquiries and offer technical advice and support with a sales focus on ventilation systems for self builders and small developers.

The role requires a candidate to add value and energy as well support to the existing sales team. A successful candidate would act as the key point of contact to new customers with regards to technical info and the development of our brand and be resposnible for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing CRM leads to paying customers; through phone calls, emails, webpage contact
• Contacting existing leads to catch up on developments and returning custom
• Providing full quotations for the supply of goods as requested by the customer
• Providing full quotations in accordance with MVHR designs
• Designing or Breifing MVHR systems from floor plans and architectural drawings
• Using the website and other sources to develop your product and industry knowledge
• Converting Quotations to sales order and handover with internal sales/logisitcs
• Offering advice/knowledge on air quality, ventilation problems, and their solutions

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Formal Qualifications

• GCSE’s Maths & English required
• A-Levels preferred
• Undergraduate Degree (not essential)

Specific Skills

• Customer focused approach to work
• Good written and verbal communications
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
• Fast learning on new inventory and ordering systems.
• Organisational and time management

Experience

• Sales experience – preferred
• Experience with e-commerce systems – Expected, but not essential
• No Experience of ventilation required - training to be provided
• Experience with Adobe software /AutoCAD – preferred but not essential
