Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team!

As a Senior Account Manager at Whippet, you’ll have the opportunity to work with leading retail clients in the UK. You’ll lead the creative delivery and day-to-day running of projects across campaigns, POS, branding, print, digital and more!

The role involves working closely with clients to deliver projects to time and budget, whilst upholding the exceptional quality standards Whippet is known for.

Key to this role is the successful relationship and positive rapport built with the clients and equally with our creative and client service teams. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary designers, artworkers and copywriters is essential, and the Account Manager will have excellent planning ability in marketing projects. You will lead and manage projects from concept, briefing and budget management in order to successfully navigate the teams through to delivery.

We get brands, we get design, we get communications, and between our amazing team of 30 people comprising of Creative, Strategy and Client Services, we deliver powerful marketing designs.

We work predominantly in retail, so it’s fast, but we love the variety and the pace! You’ll be working with some pretty amazing brands, alongside some pretty amazing people, so if you’re creative, passionate, motivated, collaborative with great attention to detail, you’ll fit right in.

What to expect?

Day-to-day as a Senior Account Manager at Whippet you’ll have the opportunity to:

· Take client briefs and plan project objectives, resource requirements and timelines

· Be the main point of contact for clients and build on relationships

· Drive projects and problem-solve to ensure the quality delivered to clients is always first-class

· Communicate and translate client feedback to creative and client services teams to produce deliverables which meet the brief

· Support and motivate designers

· Work closely with finance to manage budgets and project costs

· Ensure systems, tracking and admin platforms are accurate and kept up to date regularly

· Identify resource needs and any requirements for contractors

· Be commercially aware and actively seek new opportunities to extend Whippet’s creative offerings

· Present work to clients and act as an ambassador for Whippet
