Head of Communications and Engagement – 12 month FTC

B2B business embarking on a transformation programme and new service offering is looking for an experienced communications professional to lead the communications function and employee engagement for an initial 12-month period. They consider themselves a disruptor to the sector and are keen to develop a modern working culture that matches.

Advising the CEO and leadership team on internal communications and employee engagement strategy and delivering plans, as well as advising on external affairs, such as annual reports, reputation management, and managing agency providers.

Specifically:

Work with the leadership team on corporate narrative and messaging for internal and external stakeholders

Develop a leadership visibility programme and employee engagement strategy

Lead on transformation project communications

Advise on external employer brand work as well as EVP

Lead on financial announcements, Annual Reports and any crisis comms with support from an agency

Review and improve channels

Candidates must have previous internal communications experience gained in B2B setting and the technology sector would be a big plus. Also, demonstrate experience advising on external relations and working with agencies.

Flex working is 1 – 2 days a month in the office and will consider 4 day working week for the right candidate. It is a contract so ideally notice of 1 month or less.
