Category Development Manager

Location: London Area

Hybrid: 3 Days in head office

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

This is a customer-facing category management role where you will be responsible for shaping category growth across retail customers. Working for a leading FMCG organisation with significant market share in the categories they represent. The organisation has seen significant growth with strong sales across all channels, successful product launches, and a strategic plan for further expansion.

Key responsibilities:

• Instrumental in influencing key grocery retail accounts.
• Customer relationship management.
• Delivering data-driven category strategies.
• Contributing category insights to identify category growth.
• Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams in marketing and commercial areas.

The ideal category development manager will have experience in a similar level of category management role and a strong understanding of the UK grocery scene. You should be comfortable in building relationships and working closely with customers, with a passion for figuring out what drives category performance. Experience in creating and delivering successful Category Growth Plans, along with familiarity with using tools like JDA, Nielsen, Kantar & Dunnhumby Data to make smart, data-driven decisions.
