Income Officer – Temporary Opportunity with Yorkshire based Housing Association!
My client is a forward-thinking housing association committed to providing high-quality, customer-focused services. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional housing solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They are looking for an Income Officer to join their dynamic Income and Specialist Housing Team. The role is a temporary opportunity lasting a minimum of 6 months.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing income collection and arrears on a patch basis, including CTA, FTA and service charge
- Delivering challenging monthly, quarterly and annual performance targets
- Providing advice on welfare reforms and supporting customers to maintain their tenancies
- Acting as the main contact with DWP and Local Authorities for rent payments and customer claims
- Ensuring detailed and timely record-keeping, with frequent updates to customer information
- Preparing casework for Court Hearings and repersenting the HA
- Conducting pre-tenancy assessments to evaluate financial capability
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver patch-based services and targets
Experience within a housing association is essential and working in arrears management is preferred!
