Humanities Teacher with Geography specialism - Knowsley - Temporary post to start immediately with a view to long term and permanent for the right person - Permanent post available from January 2025 - Competitive MPS salary based on experience
Are you an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in an inclusive and locally-sized academy in Knowslkey? If you're passionate about inspiring students and have a dedication to fostering their love for the humanities, we want to hear from you.
ey Responsibilities:
Support with the delivery of lessons across Geography lessons and support across Hums where required
Lesson's are already planned with scaffolding also available, teachers happy to plan their own lessons and take on full teaching responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
Teach a range of subjects at KS3 within the humanities department.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active student participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the humanities curriculum.
Requirements:
UK teaching/ Education experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage but not essential.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching humanities.
Effective classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
