Elastic Path Developer/Architect

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Elastic Path Developer/Architect to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience with Elastic Path Commerce to design, develop, and optimize complex eCommerce solutions that meet our clients' business needs. Key Responsibilities : Solution Design and Architecture : - Design scalable and high-performance eCommerce solutions using Elastic Path Commerce. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Development and Implementation : - Develop and implement custom features and functionalities in Elastic Path. - Integrate Elastic Path with various systems, including payment gateways, inventory management, and CRM systems. API Management : - Design and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems. - Ensure API security, performance, and documentation best practices. Performance Optimization : - Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure fast response times and minimal downtime. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for continuous integration and deployment. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaboration and Mentorship : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce and Elastic Path. - Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing solutions and processes. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Elastic Path Commerce. - Proficiency in Java and familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL). - Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure). - Strong understanding of eCommerce principles, payment processing, and order management systems.
