Job Description
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced General Foreman / Site Supervisor / Site Manager on behalf of a regional civil engineering sub-contractor to oversee daily delivery of a project starting near Gowdall.
Initial Gowdall project programmed for 5 months but with all the work expecting to be won, the successful person in this role should have further work with this business.
Scope of works: deep excavations up to 6m, large diameter pipework, deep drainage, ducting, combined sewer overflows (CSO's) & general civils work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assisting main contractor on site in daily delivery
* Coordination of 3 DLO gangs on site
* Daily briefings
* Toolbox talks
* Monitoring H&S on site
* Ordering materials
* Attending progress meetings
* Plant checks & permits
Experience required:
* Must have experience as General Foreman / Site Supervisor / Site Manager on heavy civil engineering schemes involving deep drainage, pipework, ducting etc.
* Must have experience dealing with: Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water or a similar client ways of working & standards
* Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and full driving license.
* Beneficial: Temporary Works, EUSR Water etc.
Remuneration:
A day rate of up to £300 (dependant upon experience)
Can be paid CIS or Ltd / PAYE (outside of IR-35 achievable).
