Job Description

A nine-month Accounts Receivable Manager role to join a highly successful Retail/Beauty company

Your new company
You will join a well established and thriving business who are pioneers in the skincare industry. You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller, managing your own team of 2 Credit Controllers.

Your new role
Oversee daily and monthly duties related to credit control for 3rd-party retailers, boutiques, and e-commerce across all brands.Hands-on credit control responsibilities for high-profile clients/ customers. Handle inbox management, debit notes, query resolution, recharges, cash allocation, and reconciliation.Lead, coach, and guide a team of two credit controllers, establish ambitious objectives, and conduct regular weekly one-on-one sessions for feedback and development.Collaborate with customers and other departments to identify and resolve issuesResponsible for month end reporting: calculating bad debt provision,prepare month end reports and overseeing revenue recognition process Issue regular AR reports and escalate issues to GFC/FD as needed Manage AR process and policy documentation, collaborate with Group Financial Controller to identify process improvements.Help push process improvements across AR with a focus on debit notes, communicating with other departments that can affect credit Conduct monthly meetings with the insurance company to manage the trade insurance policyAssess the credit risk and limits of key accounts semi-annuallyHandle external debt collection agency relationships
What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong Credit Control Background in Retail/FMCG.
  • Previous experience managing and developing an AR team
  • Effective communication.
  • Experience with deductions.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of SAP S4/HANA system (highly advantageous)
  • Able to handle manual work under high pressure deadlines.
  • Excel skills including Sumif, Pivots, Vlookups
  • System implementation (ideally SAP)
  • Brilliant attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to changing business demands.
