Our client is a global investment bank, asset manager and retail ban.. With a very strong heritage, it is known as a market leader within the banking community and provides bespoke international financial solutions to a wide range of customers.

An opportunity has become available for a solicitor to join the team of trading floor based transactional lawyers supporting all Global Markets businesses. There is a particular focus on equities and securitised products with this business group: you will provide legal advice on structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution of a wide range of equity products, with a primary focus on equity derivatives, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, equity margin loans and fund-linked loans and equity finance.

This role is as close as you can get as a lawyer, to working with the bankers

Candidate Requirements

• You will be a qualified solicitor from a top tier London firm, with at least 4 years’ PQE with strong experience with equity products, including equity derivatives. Alternatively you may already be working within the banking industry as a lawyer focussed on equities.
• You will have familiarity with ISDA and a there is a preference for familiarity with other industry documentation (LMA, GMSLA).
• Strong team player and able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment

The company is offering an excellent basic salary and bonus, together with a full benefits package. In addition the business is highly flexible in its approach to work and offers hybrid working with a 3/2 split.
